Summix B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors younger than 16, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. Summix B.V. does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
- Customers, reason: administrative, retention period: 7 years
- CRM contacts, reason: relationship management, retention period: up to 1 year after inactivity
- Staff: reason: legislation, retention period: up to 2 years after leaving employment
Sharing personal data with third parties
Summix B.V. shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Summix B.V. remains responsible for these processing operations.

View, change or delete your data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation you name. If you want to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability, or if you have other questions/comments about the data processing, please send a specified request to administratie@summix.nl.
To make sure the request for access was made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Summix B.V. will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks. Summix B.V. would also like to point out that you have the option of filing a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
